On Monday, June 13, 7pm, the Woodworth Prairie Interpretation Center was filled with prairie enthusiasts after Dennis Nyberg led an informational tour of the prairie. A supportive letter from the University of Illinois-Chicago Chancellor was read, and Bernice presented her book and told of the value of saving important pieces of our rich natural heritage. Book-signing, refreshments, and socializing followed. All in all, it was a successful evening.
